No. ZoiVox can forward calls from your existing number, or we can provision a new Canadian number for you. Most customers use call forwarding so their existing number stays the same.

Yes — this is one of the most common setups. ZoiVox works as overflow (catches calls your receptionist misses) or after-hours only. Your receptionist handles the day; ZoiVox handles evenings and weekends.

ZoiVox sounds natural and conversational. You can configure it to identify itself as an AI assistant if you prefer — we recommend transparency, but the choice is yours.

ZoiVox will let the caller know it doesn't have that information and offer to transfer them, take a message, or have someone follow up. It doesn't guess or make things up.

English and Canadian French today. We're intentionally not advertising a bigger number until we've verified broader language support end-to-end on our own setup — that's on the roadmap, not a live claim yet.

We're not able to make formal regulatory-compliance certifications (e.g. PIPEDA) at this early stage — if your industry has specific data-residency or compliance requirements, reach out and we'll work through them with you directly.
